Cosytoes Wireless Timerstat Installation Instructions
Features.
The Cosytoes Programmable Wireless Timerstat consists of a mobile transmitter unit and a receiver unit. The flush-mounting receiver unit will fit most 60mm conduit boxes. The installation requires no wiring between transmitter and receiver and can be fitted in any normal operating environment within a 30m range between the two units. A unique facility of this device is its R/F address code setting, which is built into both the transmitter and the receiver to ensure that the R/F signal will not be interfered by any other nearby R/F signal. A maximum heat selector switch is built inside the receiver to provide installers with aneasy means to set a required floor temperature limit. The blue backlit display and buttons of the transmitter allow for operation even in dim lighting. There is a choice of three working frequencies. ‘Frequency’ is marked on the top right of the plastic housing on both the transmitter and receiver. The marked frequency on both units must be consistent or the transmitter and receiver will not operate.

The transmitter unit is powered by 4xAAA alkaline batteries. Two batteries to power the transmitter and another two to power the backlit display and red L.E.D. The receiver unit uses mains power for operation.

Note: "+" head screw-driver required as assisting tool.
The stud on the front housing fits into the square-hole on the rear assembly.
Close the two parts and line up the “groove” with the screw, as shown.
Tighten the screw.
RF Address Code Setting.
On the back of the Transmitter circuit board.
If there is another RVF-0356 unit nearby, e.g in the next house, the receiver may be fault triggered by the other transmitter. You may select a different RF address code to prevent this. Receiver can only response to RF coding with the same address code setting as its own address code.
Set the selection the same way on both frequency selection switches.
Setting the Floor temperature limitation.
Wiring Diagram.
The heating system should be protected by an RCD to comply with the terms of guarantee and to be fully I.E.E. compliant. The receiver unit must be installed outside a bathroom. This device is rated at: - 16amps/3500w or 22sqm Cosytoes mat @ 160w/sqm.
