Installation.
Remove the front of the timerstat by inserting a screwdriver and pressing down the release catch as shown below and then pull the two halves appart.

Cosytoes Widescreen TimerstatIMPORTANT: All electrical work should be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with I.E.E. regulation.

 The Timerstat utilises latest technology and switches the heating on/off using battery power. Under no circumstances should a ‘NEUTRAL’ or ‘EARTH’ be connected to the unit. The mains supply should be via a correctly rated fused spur isolation switch and beprotected by a RCD device. Test out the heating cable for continuity and correct resistance (see heating mat instructions). Also the probe should show a resistance of aprox 120-140mohms. If the probe has been damaged during installation - free issue replacements are available. Maximum load = 16amps/22sqm mat.







Cosytoes Widescreen TimerstatUsing a connector block, connect the mains neutral and the neutral from the heating cable. Similarly connect the mains and heating cables earth’s together.

Connect Mains Earth directly to Earth connection from heating cable.













Cosytoes Widescreen TimerstatFix the back plate and connect:
Mains Live - Terminal 2
Heating Live - Terminal 3
Probe Wires - Terminals 4 & 5







Note: Heating mats are connected in parallel up to a maximum of 22sqm. The Timerstat terminals will only take 2 cables. Use a suplimentary wall connection box where more than 2 mats are to be connected.

Replace the inner cover.

Insert the batteries.

Replace the Timerstat front section.

Lightly press the reset button and the Timerstat's default programme will take over.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the reset button is pressed before use, otherwise the unit may not operate correctly.
