Note.
The thermostat has a floor probe to measure the floor temperature. We recommend that the installation is carried out by a qualified electrician.
Installation.
For use with the optional airstat, he thermostat should be located in the room away from heaters, direct sunlight, draughts or air conditioning outlet. For use with the floor probe only, (for floor heating) any accessible location is acceptable but in accordance with I.E.E. regulations.
Take the unit apart by first pulling off the front cover, and removing the screw, the main body separates from the base section as shown.
The readout is set to C but can be changed to F by relocating the ‘jumper’ on the Main Body circuit board as shown below.
The base-section will fit a standard electrical wall box. Mount the base-section with the relevant wires through the access hole in the base and fix to the wall box.
Take off protective cover and install wires into the terminal block. Before installing wiring, be sure it is consistent with the wiring-diagram instruction below.
For floor heating, the floor-probe only should be connected. The thermostat will then take its primary temperature reading directly from the floor.
There is an optional air probe that can be fitted so that the air temperature can be viewed. The thermostat will still take its primary reading from the floor probe.
Re-fix the main body onto the base-section and insert the batteries.
Press the reset button to allow the unit to read the floor probe before re-fixing the front cover.
