Suitable for domestic and commercial installations, Cosytoes Trademat is ideal for almost anywhere that requires efficient and economical heating.
Now you can have the affordable luxury and practicality of a tile or stone floor that is warm and inviting to walk on, even on the coldest days.
Cosytoes Trademat can also be installed in a screed or self-levelling compound under most floor finishes such as hardwood and laminate (following manufacturers advice), and carpet or vinyl.
All Cosytoes heating cables conform to IPX7 and are suitable for installation in all areas including wet areas in a bathroom!
3 Simple and easy steps.
- Easy to size
Floor area in sq/m less 10%, less any area of fixed objects. If you have any problems in sizing your area please contact our help line and we will work out the correct size or combination for you.
- Easy to lay
Staple, hot glue, screw or use double sided tape to fix down the backing net. Cut the net between wire loops to change direction. Correct wire spacing is assured! Simply tile the floor as normal using flexible adhesive.
- Easy to use
Use a Cosytoes Thermostat or Widescreen Timerstat for accurate, simple time and temperature control.

Controllable Heat.
Superb fingertip control with our latest timerstats. Our stats also include a floor temperature probe for accurate and economical heating.
Simple Installation.
The Cosytoes robust, triple insulated heating cable is interwoven into a special open weave fabric mesh at a pre-determined cable spacing to give a constant, regulated heating output. The Trademat is simply unrolled and fixed to any sound, level, insulated concrete or timber sub-floor and then connected to the timerstat following the installation instructions. Tile or stone surfaces are then laid in the normal way, the slim-line heater fits snugly into the adhesive layer. For hardwood, laminate and vinyl etc, the heating matrix is covered with a latex floor levelling compound or screed to evenly distribute the heat under the loose laid flooring. Cosytoes Trademat has a 4m cold connection cable at each end, simply roll out the heating from the start point, cut the fabric mesh (never the cable) to turn a corner or fit around fixed objects. Installation couldn’t be easier.
Energy Requirements.
Using a Cosytoes Timerstat, each square metre can consume as little as 0.4 pence per hour (based on 10p per kilowatt hour).
Cosytoes Trademat can be used as either the primary source of heating ,or as a secondary source to simply warm the floor. Depending on the room volume and the degree of insulation they are effective in both small and large areas, in new or exisiting buildings, adding only millimetres to the floor depth.
Know your Requirements.
Cosytoes Trademat has an output of 160 watts per square metre. Always choose the mat or combination of mats that is equal to or less than your required area. Note: Trademat should only be laid in open areas and not under fitted units as the floor must be able to radiate heat.
Cosytoes Trademat has been designed for ease of installation and safe, economical operation. We advise that a qualified electrician should carry out all electrical connections in line with current I.E.E. regulations. A correctly rated residual current device (R.C.D.) should always be used to protect the heating system.
Use any combination of the following to heat the required area. Always choose the mat or combination that is equal to or less than your required area. Note: One Timerstat can be used to control a maximum of 3600 watts (22sq/m). Where the shape of the area to be heated is particularly complicated, Cosytoes produces a loose cable system that is ideal for difficult areas.
